Mentos Fruit Flavored Candy is a delicious chewy candy. Slightly hard on the outside, but soft and chewy on the inside. So enjoy at a party with friends with it’s lemon, orange, and strawberry flavors. Mentos were first introduced in 1932 by brothers Michael and Pierre van Melle in Poland. Shipped to the U.S. in the 1960’s, along with the many different fruit flavors in the 1970’s. In September of 1999, chemistry teacher Lee Marek experimented on the David Letterman Show how Mentos mints, when dropped into a carbonated beverage, releases carbon dioxide and causes foam and a fountain to spill out of the bottle.
